Need help untangling a friendship quandary?
Help is as easy as 1, 2, 3
Call the Friendship Helpline at (646) 847-9718
Leave a message explaining your sitch
I’ll reply with my thoughts as a friendship expert
That’s it. You don’t even have to talk to a human. There’s no risk.
What’s in it for you?
Peace of mind.
An honest perspective from an educated third-party.
Certainty, so you can stop overthinking and start moving on.
What kind of situations can you help me with?
Why a friendship is drifting apart
What your friend’s silence could mean
How to know when a friendship is over
How to make new friends
One-sided friendships
Life transitions
Reality checks to see if you’re being unreasonable
How to dump a toxic friend
What to make of a friend’s choice that hurts you
Okay, I’m intrigued. What do I do?
Call (646) 847-9718 and leave me, Anna, a message about your friendship issue. I’ll hit you back with my thoughts. That’s it! Once I reply, you will never hear from me again. I will not save your information. Our conversation will be confidential.
How much will this cost?
Girl, it’s FREE! I’m doing this for free.
Wait, so what’s the catch?
There is no catch! I will keep doing this helpline as long as it’s fun for me. But, you’re right to be skeptical. In fact, we would probably be friends in real life because I love skeptical thinkers like you. We could meet up for coffee, share an artisinal sea salt chocolate chip cookie and question authority together!
Listen, as a writer, I need to understand people’s real-life friendship issues so my work can better address my audience’s concerns. I live in a studio apartment. I’m not on the streets hearing the nitty gritty details about people’s beef with their friends. With this helpline, not only can I connect with people who really need help, but I can also be better informed as a friendship expert.
So there’s nothing you want in return?
No! However, if you want to thank me, please either buy my book MODERN FRIENDSHIP or review it on Amazon and/or Goodreads. That would be cool of you as it helps more people find my work.

The small print: While I am a legit friendship expert, I am not a trained or licensed medical professional. My responses do not constitute medical advice. Any messages I send are my individual opinion. My advice is to be used for educational and entertainment purposes only. I reserve the right to ignore any messages that come in and will happily block any numbers if needed.
